Import Members

It is a very useful feature that allows user to upload member details in bulk.

Steps to be followed to perform this action are as listed below:

Click the Import button in the members page as shown in the figure.


A popup window appears that allows user to download import template or to choose the previously downloaded template for bulk member import. The pop up also shows validation rules for required data fields.

Click the Download Template.


The MemberImportTemplate will get downloaded which will have below fields to enter the information.

Note: If a field is selected as ‘Mandatory’ in the configuration- Form Options, same will become mandatory in file import as well.

To use the member_type in importing the members using excel. The translation of the member_type is as follows

Example

To create the member with the type of “vendor” pass the member_type value of 11

To create the member with the type of “vendor” pass the member_type value of 12

workflow

This triggers a immediate registration link to the member for the workflow as per the Touchless Registration Settings. Incorrect and inactive workflow names will not be accepted.

Enter the details of members corresponding to its column name as shown in the screenshot

Click on the save button.

Note: Multiple member details can be added and saved at the same time.


After saving the template with new member details in the users system navigate again to Import option from members page to verify the details.

click on ‘Choose file’ as shown in screenshot

and select the MemberImportTemplate saved in the system.


Verify the details that appear on grid with details of new members which were added in the Template.

Click on Import to save these member details into the portal.

User can now see the newly added members in the portal as shown in the screenshot.
